What is mentoring?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mentoring tends to\nfocus on the future. It is intended for personal and\/or career development.\nMentoring relationships is a relationship that tend to be voluntary on both\nsides. This is a lot different from coaching mentor, who is usually paid for\nit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mentor is someone\nwho wishes to pass on their experience to someone else who will benefit from\nit. The four key element of mentoring can be resume as such: improving performance,\ncareer development, counselling and sharing knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to David Clutterbuck, a well-known management writer, developed an acronym for what mentors do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a natural mentor?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fundamentally, mentors make people feel important. <\/strong>Natural mentorships are relationships that form between youth and older\nindividuals within their existing communities. Natural mentorship relationships\nmay be more easily implementable than formalized mentorships. Teachers,\ncoaches, friends, and other adults can often be natural mentors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connections between youth and the mentor can have a positive outcomes for youth. Van Dam et al.\u2019s research suggest that natural mentors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
